Eng. Amer Abdul Aziz Al Salem, former executive officer
of Saudi Aramco, stressed the importance of following and implementing quality
programs in all procedures related to private sector institutions, pointing that
they have become a crucial necessity to face the economic challenges.
Speaking
at a lecture titled "Ensuring the quality of projects under difficult
circumstances and challenges", Asharqia organized in cooperation with the
Saudi Engineers Organization in its headquarters on Sunday, April 9, 2017, the
importance of quality procedures that require us to improve individuals,
institutions and profits and reducing losses resulting from the non conformity
of specifications.
Al
Salem said in the lecture, which was attended by member of the Board of Directors Abdul Hakim
Al Ammar, that quality is not a magic wand or temporary painkillers or a
program imposed by leaders through consultants, but a personal commitment in
the interest of all people and business, it is an administrative philosophy of
how to raise staff efficiency and the efficiency of
methods and systems through which all employees and administrators are treating
each other.
He
pointed out that the quality programs contribute to raising the level of
production of employees in difficult and different circumstances, and the
results exceed expectations and reach a high level of satisfaction after
achieving successes, indicating the need to identify the factors affecting the
work environment and measuring the performance of work systems to make plans to
develop the necessary procedures To
improve performance, pointing out that the business sector faces a lot of
administrative challenges and if dealt with positively, it can continue to find
new opportunities for growth and development.
He
also pointed that improving individuals is one of the most important quality
programs where individuals are engaged in specialized programs that improve their abilities, or participate in
quality teams so that they are more able to make decisions and more proficient
in identifying problems and analysis and treatment, which will in turn allow
managers to focus attention to
their leading role.
In
conclusion, the board member of the Chamber Abdul Hakim Al Ammar honored Eng.
Amer Al Salem with a memorial shield.
